Hike and Country Walks around Kathmandu valley

Phulchowki day hike:
Phulchowki Hill stands at 2,760 meters high which is just 18 km South East of Kathmandu with short driving distance, the area is reached via Godawari Botanical Gardens.  It is famous for birds and some wild life with an awesome panorama of mountains views from Annapurna, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal towards North West and with central Himalaya range of mountains of Langtang-Jugal Himal and continues towards North East Mt. Everest and other adjoining high Himalayan peaks.

Kakani to Nagarkot via Chisapani from a day to 2-3 days Hiking:
A moderate and peaceful walk on North of Kathmandu valley walk uphill into forested area of rhododendron-pines and oaks trees and terraced farm land with country villages, to reach at Kakani and towards Chisapani hill ridge at 2,240m for stunning sunrise views over range of mountains.

From here continue hike to Nagarkot at 2,100 meters famous mountain resorts with splendid views of mountains with stunning sunrise and sunset over snow-clad peaks.

For energetic people can continue walk to Dhulikhel or downhill to Changunarayan Temple area near Bhaktapur.

Shivapuri hill and Nagarjun hill:

01:          Shivapuri Hill 2,540 m  high with duration of 03 to 04 hrs hike both ways
02:          Phulchowki Hill 2,760 m high with duration of 03 to 4 hrs hike both ways
03:          Chisopani Hill 2,310 m high with duration of 05 to 6 hrs hike both ways
04:          Nagarjun Hill 1,670 m high with duration of 03 to 4 hrs hike both ways

Buddhist Peace / Shanti Stupa: 
An excellent next view point of short hike and drive near to ridge top of Pokhara at Shanti or Peace Stupa, located south of Phewa Lake on a ridge top.

Peace / Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist Pagoda on a hilltop, also known as Ananda hill, built by Japanese monks with local supporters under the guidance of a head priest.

This beautiful spot offers tremendous overwhelming views of Pokhara valley and of the snow capped peaks towards the north.

A  hill top the tallest spot at 1, 460 meters with super views of mountains, Pokhara green valley and its city with Phewa Lake below, besides the fabulous panorama famous for paragliding which is one of the most popular adventures sports around this scenic place.
