Kaligandaki valley trek is also popularly known as Jomsom Muktinath trek in the famous Annapurna region of central Nepal. You will be experiencing the cultural sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, exploring the beautiful Pokhara city, trekking through forests in Ghorepani, viewing the stunning sunrise views at Poonhill, encountering the fossils and walking through deepest gorge in the world at Kaligandaki, relaxing in the natural hot spring at Tatopani, visiting famous pilgrimage site at Muktinath and finally creating the memory of lifetime in this Kaligandaki valley trek.
We will be trekking in Kaligandaki valley after five to six hours ride towards Pokhara from Kathmandu. The trekking activity initiates from Nayapul and we will be heading towards Tikhedhunga. Walk through the refreshing rhododendron forests in Ghorepani and a short hike up towards Poonhill. The Poonhill viewpoint offers the spectacular panoramic views of the glorious Himalayas like Annapurna Himalayan range, Dhaulagiri Himalayan range, Mt. Machhapuchre and other beautiful peaks. Further, we head towards Tatopani beholding the experience of walking through deepest gorge in the world between the two great eight thousand Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri. It looks like Kaligandaki river has cut the two great mountains in two parts. Following the trekking trails, we pass through small villages namely Ghasa, Tukuche, Marpha, Kagbeni, and Jomsom. These villages are culturally rich and it will be an opportunity to explore the local tradition and cultures of specially Gurung people and Thakalis. Along the way, we will be visiting the famous pilgrimage site Muktinath Temple which holds the great importance of Hindus and Buddhists. We will finally conclude this 15 days adventure after returning to Pokhara and catch a flight back to Kathmandu.

Drive to Nayapul (1010meters) and trek to Tikhedunga (1570meters) 3 hours.
Day 05: Ghorepani
Trek to Ghorepani (2840meters) 5 hours.
Day 06: Poon Hill - Tatopani
Hike up to Poon Hill (3210meters) and trek to Tatopani (1190meters).
Day 07: Ghasa
Trek to Ghasa (2010 meters) 5 hours.
Day 08: Tukche
Trek to Tukche (2586m.) 5.30 hours.
Day 09: Kagbeni
Trek to Kagbeni(2810m.) 5 hours
Day 10: Muktinath
Trek to Muktinath (3802meters) 5 hours.
Day 11: Jomsom
Trek back to Jomsom (2713meters) 5 hours.

Thirty minutes morning flight to Pokhara.
